Glen Rock Named Best Bergen County Town For Families
New Jersey Family, a resource for New Jersey parents, has announced New Jersey's "Best Towns for Families 2017."
GLEN ROCK, NJ — Glen Rock has been named the best place for families to live in Bergen County, and fourth best in the state.
New Jersey Family, a resource for New Jersey parents, released its list of "Best Towns for Families 2017," an annual ranking of the Garden State's 511 municipalities.
Clinton in Hunterdon County tops this year's list. Asbury Park is at the bottom.

Other Bergen County towns that made the top 20 are:
- 8th: Oradell
- 10th: Midland Park
- 11th: Oakland
- 14th: Wyckoff
- 16th: Tenafly
- 18th: Cresskill
- 20th: Haworth
“This year, we reworked our algorithm to take a deeper dive into high school performance while also weighing things like safety, how affordable a town is, average commute time and more criteria that matters to families,” said Cindy Mironovich, New Jersey Family’s publisher and founder.
