Glen Rock Police Investigate Hit-And-Run: Blotter
The department is asking for public assistance after a Fair Lawn resident's vehicle was hit, officials said.

2:25 p.m. – A Fair Lawn resident reported that their black 2001 Audi was struck by an unknown vehicle while parked in the parking lot of Starbucks on Rock Road. The unknown hit and run vehicle dented the driver side door of the complainant’s vehicle. This reportedly occurred sometime between 10 AM and the time of the report. Anyone who may have witnessed this occur, who can provide a license plate number and driver description, is asked to contact the Glen Rock Police Department at (201) 652-3800.

11:19 a.m. – A Glen Rock resident reported receiving a phone call from an individual claiming to be a Federal Agent. The caller was aware of the current balance of the complaint’s bank account and told him remain on the phone while traveling to his bank to withdraw the money. When the complainant arrived at his bank, he became aware that this was a scam. There was no financial loss, however, it was recommended that steps be taken to protect his bank account as well as to monitor his credit.
