Glen Rock Police Undergo Accreditation Review
Starting Monday, the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police will begin the review process, and are seeking public comment.
GLEN ROCK, NJ — Glen Rock Police will undergo an accreditation review beginning Monday, and assessors from the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police are seeking public comment.
A team of assessors from the NJSACOP will examine all aspects of the Glen Rock Police Department’s policies and procedures, management, operations, and support services, according to Police Chief Dean Ackermann.
"Verification by the team that the Glen Rock Police Department meets the Commission’s 'best practice' standards is part of a voluntary process to achieve accreditation, a highly prized recognition of law enforcement professional excellence," said Ackermann.
