"I just got my acceptance letter," one of them says. "I can't get in trouble for this...I'm not even supposed to be here right now."

It was coordinated by Officer Matt Stanislao, President of the Bergen County Juvenile Officers Association.

The initiative is a collaborative effort by local and county agencies throughout Bergen County "to promote The Good
Samaritan Law and to model behaviors necessary to help save someone's life who has overdosed," said the Glen Rock PD in a release.

"Final takeaway messages include the purpose of these types of laws and reasons to resist the urge to panic or run away in this situation."

The Bergen County Juvenile Officers Association spearheaded the initiative with multiple agencies including The Bergen County Police Chiefs Association, The Bergen County Prevention Coalition, and Alumni in Recovery.

The Glen Rock PD said, "Special thanks to Chief William Wicker of the Oradell Police Department, the Glen Rock High School Drama Club, Ramsey Rescue Squad, and Sgt. Ed Visich (Park Ridge PD Retired) for their roles in the production.

"We also wish to recognize the Bergen County Police Chiefs Association, Wyckoff Police Chief David V. Murphy, president, for the association’s ongoing support of these efforts."
