On the Democratic side, current Council President Amy Martin is the only candidate vying for the full-term seat, with Council Member Caroline S. Unzaga running for the unexpired term. She faces no opposition for that seat from a Republican challenger.

Martin, on the other hand, has two opponents on the other side of the aisle as Daniel Corey and Barry Wilkes are both up for the full-term seats.

Voters in Glen Rock, and across most of Bergen County, will also place their vote for their member of the House of Representatives. Josh Gottheimer, the incumbent in the Fifth District, faces a primary challenge from Arati S. Kreibich, who once volunteered for the Gottheimer campaign.

On the Republican side, John McCann, who lost to Gottheimer in 2018, is back on the ballot, along with James Baldini, Frank Pallotta and Hector Castillo.

Of six Democratic candidates and two Republican candidates, two will become members of the Board of Chosen Freeholders.

Vice Chairwoman Joan M. Voss is up for reelection, and Ridgewood Mayor Ramon Hache has his name on the ballot, as do Daniel Kim, Laura Occhipinti, Edmund Fanning and Patricia Henry on the Democratic ballot.

Republicans Ronald Kistner and Simone Tsigounis will also seek the two seats of the Board.
