Glen Rock Student Wins Reality-Style Cooking Competition

GLEN ROCK, NJ — A borough high school student recently won a college-sponsored cooking competition.

Mira Fish took home the top prize Friday at the culminating reality show-style competition of Bergen Community College's two-week long HACKed course.

Fish and Sophia Lukac not only showed off their culinary skills — they made a peach-mango sorbet without using an ice cream maker — they did it without their teammate, who could not join them for the competition.
