Glen Rock Woman Crashes Into Cars, Charged With DUI: Police

Michele Butler hit 3 parked cars at a Prospect Street strip mall, police said.

GLEN ROCK, NJ — A borough woman was arrested for DUI after she crashed her vehicle into three cars at a strip mall on Prospect Street Friday night, police said.

Police responded to the strip mall on a report of a multi-vehicle crash; they investigated and viewed video surveillance footage that showed a vehicle driven in a careless manner on Prospect Street left the road, drove on the sidewalk, entered the parking lot and hit the cars, said Chief Dean Ackermann.

The driver, who police identified as Michele Butler, 46, was taken to Valley Hospital for Treatment, the chief said. Blood samples were drawn for toxicology testing by the State Police Lab, he said.
