Gottheimer Will Meet With Constituents Thursday Morning In Ridgewood
The congressman-elect will meet with voters as they go to work.

RIDGEWOOD, N.J. — Congressman-elect Josh Gottheimer will meet with constituents and thank voters for their support at the train station beginning at 7:30 a.m. Thursday.
Gottheimer defeated seven-term incumbent Scott Garrett by slightly more than 10,000 votes Tuesday, the result of a hard-fought campaign. Both campaigns accused each other of lying and filed cease and desist letters against each other regarding election materials.
Garrett tried to paint Gottheimer as a Washington insider who could not be trusted. Gottheimer attacked Garrett's voting record, stating his values were not in lockstep with his constituents'.

Garrett has not conceded the election yet, as he said about 20,000 ballots still must be counted.
The train station is located at S. Broad Street and East Ridgewood Avenue.
