Green Way Markets Celebrates 1 Year In Ridgewood With Grand Reopening

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — The dream began with their father. Now, the Estevez family runs Green Way Markets, a supermarket that celebrated one year in Ridgewood with May 6's grand reopening and ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The grocer opened in February 2021 and held a soft opening last year. But the business was able to show off its complete remodel, updated design and new offerings at May 6's event.
"Our father started this dream with one small bodega," said John Estevez, who owns and operates the store with Robin and Billy Estevez. "Through the values he instilled in us as children, we have grown his dream. He would be so proud to see us now."

"I encourage everyone to stop by and stroll the aisles of this incredibly beautiful grocery store," Knudesen said. "Ridgewood is fortunate to have attracted this family-run business, one whose members take such great pride in their work, and whose store has much to offer. We look forward to their serving the needs of our community for many years to come."
