Greg Calderone Invites Villagers to 'Get Happy' at the Shell Tuesday Night
The cabaret singer is on at 8:30 p.m.

Cabaret singer Greg Calderone will be performing at the Kasschau Memorial Shell at 8:30 p.m. tonight along with his quartet, for another installation of the Summer Entertainment Under the Stars series. Folks who have been attending the concert series the past seven years may remember him; tonight will be his eighth year in the summer series.
“It gets better every year,” said Calderone. “There’s always a lot of enthusiasm, and it’s a good night for families.”
Tonight’s set list will span from forties-era music to today, and will include some Swing as well as popular Italian-American songs. He will also be performing familiar classics by Rogers and Hammerstein, Elton John, and Barry Manilow.

Calderone was born and raised in Waldwick, and has been performing in the area for the majority of his life, even serving as a cantor for The Church of the Nativity in Midland Park for 16 years. He credits Johnny Mathis, Jack Jones, and Shirley Bassey as his major influences.
“People should get excited about having a very good time, it’s a great night to relax, forget the troubles, and get happy,” he said.
