How did the "Parental Rights" slate and the other five candidates do after paper ballots were counted? Here are the final 2023 tallies.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — Final numbers for the Ridgewood Board of Education election were certified last week, after the last mail-in ballots would have been counted.

The school board race was competitive, with seven candidates running, including incumbents and a two-member "Parental Rights Alliance" slate. See the sample ballot here and read about the candidates' debate here.

Mary Micale was a clear winner for one of the two seats in contention. Incumbent Saurabh Dani squeaked by Julie Mchedlishvili for the second spot.

These were the original numbers at the end of Election day on Tuesday, Nov. 7:
Mary Micale: 2,406
Saurabh Dani: 1,422
Julie Mchedlishvili: 1,370
Michael W. Lembo: 1,009
Laura McKenna: 912
Malcolm R. Jennings: 582
Claude J. Guinchard II: 552
