Malfunctioning Sprinkler Floods Glen Rock Condos: Police
A hot water heater caught fire and a sprinkler went off to extinguish it, but it kept running and no alarm went off, police said.

GLEN ROCK, NJ — A fire broke out at a Daryl Court condominium early Sunday, causing it and a adjacent condo to flood, police said.
Police responded to a report of a flood the condo at 2:35 a.m., said Chief Dean Ackermann. The resident reported that water was entering their unit from the unit next door.
A investigation found that a malfunctioning hot water heater caused a fire, which was extinguished by water from a sprinkler that continued to run and no alarm was activated, Ackermann said.
