He was found in Medellin, Colombia in February 2024, and extradited to the United States this past December. He was taken to the Bergen County Jail in Hackensack, prosecutors said.

On Friday, the FBI, Bergen County prosecutors, and police in both New York City and Englewood arrested Paulino in Manhattan.

He was charged with third-degree hindering the apprehension of another.

He was taken to the New York City Department of Correction to await extradition to Bergen County, prosecutors said.
