Fatty came to the shelter with his brother Frankie. Fatty is an exceptional cat. He is about six years old and loves dogs. He is good with children and infants. Fatty would like to find a home with his brother, however he does not have to. Fatty is up to date with shots and has tested negative for Feline Aids and Feline Leukemia. He will get a microchip before leaving the shelter.

Rabbit:
The shelter describes Nivens McTwist as:
Nivens is a friendly bunny who is litter-pan trained.
Dogs:
The shelter describes Lil Man as:
A large, adult pit bull terrier mix. He has been here for over three months, too long to live in a kennel so we are intently looking for the right home for him. This Lil Man is not so little. Weighing in at 99 pounds, this hunk will need a family who has bully breed experience. As a social four year old, Lil Man has a tendency to get a bit too aroused when playing, especially with rope toys. Although this tends to be his favorite, adopters will have to set basic rules during so Lil Man can learn to play appropriately. He does pull moderately so owners will need to start leash training and take him on plenty of walks so he gets the exercise he needs to be a healthy, strong guy. Lil Man is very respectful of his handler and looks for direction. He has come a long way since he arrived with the help of the staff and volunteers who walk him and work with him. He loves to play fetch which is a great way for him to burn off some of his energy. Please think about meeting this great boy.
The shelter describes Blue as:
He is a young pit bull mix that was brought to us because his owners didn't have time for him. This smaller guy, weighing in at 50 pounds, can be intense for his size so adopters should know about or research bully breeds before taking him home. Blue was not friendly with a male dog he was introduced to so we are recommending a single dog household for him. Blue does get distracted easily so owners should practice a look command with him so he learns to focus more on his leader than on his surroundings. Although he does get sidetracked, he is a social pup. He comes up to people seeking affection and is very friendly with the people he is introduced to. We are recommending a home with children older than 16 years (depending on meet and greet) because it takes a while for him to warm up and relax. Blue is now looking for a home that can provide him with guidance and direction so he can become a more confident, social adult.
