Middle School Students To Honor Veterans At Annual Memorial Day Ceremony
Donations will be accepted for the Wounded Warriors Foundation.

Benjamin Franklin Middle School will host its annual Memorial Day Remembrance ceremony Wednesday, May 20.
A brief presentation on the history and meaning of Memorial Day will be shown. Current and former veterans, and honored guests from the community, are slated to attend.
A luminary honoring those veterans who died in the line of service will be displayed outside of the school during the ceremony.

The school will sell miniature flags before and during the ceremony. All proceeds will be donated to the Wounded Warriors Foundation, an organization that helps wounded veterans live productive, happy lives. More than $4,000 was collected in the previous two years.
The ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. in the school’s auditorium.
