More Walton Street Parking Restrictions Introduced

The Village Council reversed course and introduced an ordinance Wednesday night limiting parking on Walton Street to one side of the road.

, with that maximum between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. every day but Sunday and holidays.

Now, from South Maple Avenue to Dayton Street, parking may only be permitted on the south-west side of the road when it was previously allowed on both sides.

Emergency responders were concerned larger vehicles could not squeeze by with vehicles parked on both sides of the street, officials said at a recent council meeting.
