Nebbia's Big Night in Net Not Enough To Lift Panthers Over T-birds

Goaltender Harris Nebbia was outstanding for Glen Rock on Tuesday night, making save after save for the Panthers, but it was not enough.

Glen Rock took an early lead in the second period on a goal by Kevin Doyle. Mahwah answered back, scoring twice on a power play in the third period to win 2-1 in the semifinal round of the Big North Green Division Playoffs.

Glen Rock held tough with the Thunderbirds, despite being outshot 40-11, which made for a busy night for Nebbia.

The Panthers received the 19-seed in the NJSIAA Public B Tournament and will take on 14th seeded West Morris in the first round.
