NJ Teachers Endorse District 38 Legislators For Re-election
The New Jersey Education Association announced the slate of state legislative candidates it is endorsing this year.

GLEN ROCK, NJ — Three District 38 state legislators have been endorsed by the New Jersey Education Association for re-election in November.
Senator Bob Gordon and Assemblymen Timothy Eustace and Joseph A. Lagana, all Democrats and all incumbents, received the endorsement of the association's 125-member PAC.
The endorsements are in addition to the committee's endorsement of Democratic candidate Phil Murphy for governor. The democratic candidate received that endorsement last spring.

"As we finally exit the Christie era and work to rebuild our state, it is imperative that we elect pro-public education and pro-public employee candidates," NJEA President Wendell Steinhauer said in a statement. "NJEA members have always been active participants in the political process, but now more than ever, we all realize the consequences of electing politicians who do not share our priorities or our values."
The PAC voted on the recommendations of local interview teams from each legislative district.
