North Jersey Battles Flooding, Crashes, Road Closings As Storms Hit Region (Videos)

Flood warnings and a hazardous weather outlook have been issued after a storm has hit the North Jersey region, causing some roads to be shut down on Friday.

Heavy rain has already shut down Route 287 and blocked parts of Route 80 and Route 46 in Morris County. Route 46 in Parsippany has been reopened. Read more: Flooding Closes All Lanes On Route 287 Friday Morning

Warnings remain in effect for the entire state as more rain is expected.

A flood warning has been issued for Morris County, northern Hunterdon County, southern Sussex County, Warren County and southeastern Northampton County in eastern Pennsylvania. The warning is in effect until 12:15 p.m.

Two to 3 inches of rain have already fallen in some areas. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the next couple of hours. This additional rain will result in flooding of small streams and roadways.

Here are some of the accidents and other problems:

• Flooding: US 46 westbound at East of CR 637/Beverwyck Rd in Parsippany-Troy Hills Twp. All lanes closed - 10 minute delay.
• Flooding: I-80 westbound Exit 43 - I-287 in Parsippany-Troy Hills Twp. Right lanes blocked - 10 minute delay.
• Downed tree: I-287 northbound ramp to Exit 39 - NJ 10 in Hanover Twp. Ramp closed.
• Downed tree: Downed tree on NJ 10 westbound exiting at I-287 in Hanover Twp. Partial ramp blocked.
• Flooding : NJ 10 in both directions Jennifern Av in Randolph Twp. All lanes closed and detoured.
• Accident with Injuries: US 130 As of 10:17am, there's an Accident with Injuries on US 130 northbound North of CR 695/Old Georges Rd in North Brunswick Twp. All lanes closed.
• Vehicle off the roadway: Vehicle off the roadway on I-78 westbound West of Exit 11 - CR 614/Pattenburg Rd in Bethlehem Twp. Right lane and shoulder closed.
• Overturned Truck: Overturned Truck on I-295 northbound ramp to Exit 56 - US 206 in Bordentown Twp. All lanes subject to closure on Rising Sun Connector Rd., use caution.
• Accident with Injurie: George Washington Bridge upper level eastbound blocking all lanes on the Trans-Manhattan Expressway.
• Jack-knifed tractor: US 22 As of 9:37am, there's a Jack-knifed tractor trailer on US 22 in both directions area of Weequahic Park in Newark. All lanes closed and detoured.
