Officials Launch Investigation Of Illegal Dumping Of Construction Debris: Report

Village police are attempting to find out who illegally dumped two truckloads of asphalt and concrete behind the village’s composting site along Lakeview Drive, The Record reported.

Village Manager Roberta Sonenfeld said police are attempting to find out who disposed of the materials at the site, the report stated.

Various construction materials were also found behind the site, Sonenfeld said.

A state Department of Environmental Protection employees discovered the debris during the routine inspection, Sonenfeld told the newspaper.
