Police Arrest 2 People After Finding Heroin During Traffic Stops
40 decks of heroin were found during one stop and 11 during another, police said.

GLEN ROCK, N.J. — Police arrested two people on drug possession charges following traffic stops where police found heroin in the vehicles recently.
Officer John Tarantino arrested Andrea M. Passanante, 26, of Denville, after a motor vehicle stop on Route 208 North Saturday morning, said Chief Dean Ackermann.
Police found 40 decks of heroin and several hypodermic syringes in the vehicle, police said.

Passanante was charged with possession of narcotics and possession of hypodermic needles and released on her own recognizance, the chief said. She was also issued motor vehicles summonses.
During the course of a motor vehicle stop Sunday afternoon on Route 208 North, Tarantino arrested Philip J. Wolff III, 39, of Greenwood Lake for possession of 11 decks of heroin and drug paraphernalia, said Ackermann.

Wolff was charged with possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said. Wolff was released on his own recognizance, the chief said.
