Update: Totowa Motorcycle Driver Killed In Route 3 Crash
Crash caused 45-minute delays on the highway.
A Totowa man was killed in a motorcycle crash on Route 3 in East Rutherford Friday morning, authorities reported.
Joseph Frederick was pronounced dead at 7:41 a.m., Totowa Chief Larry Minda told NorthJersey.com in a statement.
Minda told the website that Frederick’s motorcycle appeared to have struck a guardrail on the eastbound side of the highway near the Route 120 overpass. No other vehicles were involved, the website reported.

Two lanes of Route 3 East were closed until 11 a.m. authorities said; delays of 45 minutes were reported on the highway.
