Glen Rock Police Urge Residents To Keep Cars Locked: Blotter

After a resident reported an attempted theft from an unlocked car on Tonawanda Road, police again issued a warning to residents.

4:42 a.m. – A Tonawanda Road resident reported observing two unknown individuals in dark clothing enter an unlocked vehicle in their driveway. The actors fled the area as the resident was calling 9-1-1. Responding officers checked the area with negative results. The vehicle owner reported that nothing appeared to be missing.

01-08-2021

1:33 a.m. – While on patrol in Wilde Memorial Park, P.O. Sam Evans observed an unknown individual inside the park after the 11PM closing time. As the individual observed the officer, they ran off as he was entering the park area. The officer did observe damages to the door handle at the female restroom, however, it could not be immediately determined if this was old damage. Efforts to locate the individual observed by the officer were unsuccessful.
