Prosecutor Investigating Little Ferry Homicide, 1 In Custody

A 36-year-old man was found stabbed multiple times on Abend Street early Thursday morning. He later died from his wounds, officials said.

LITTLE FERRY, NJ — The Bergen County Prosecutor is investigating yet another homicide in the county, the fourth in just 10 days.

The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Little Ferry Police Department are investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred at 14 Abend St. in Little Ferry early Thursday morning.

Little Ferry and Moonachie police responded to the address around 5:40 a.m. on Thursday morning to find a 36-year-old man with multiple stab wounds. That man, who has yet to be identified, was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center, was he was pronounced dead.

A suspect has been taken into custody, and no other individuals are believed to have been involved, prosecutors said.
