Republican Challenger Files To Unseat Glen Rock Democrat In Council

GLEN ROCK, NJ — Two incumbent Democrats and a Republican have filed as candidates for the two Glen Rock Borough Council seats, county board of elections records show.

Teresa Gilbreath and Robert Dill, who sit on Council now, will run against William J. "Bill" Leonard. Leonard has run for local office several times before.

The 2022 primary election takes place on Tuesday, June 7 in New Jersey. The winners will earn their party's nomination for the general election, which takes place on Tuesday, Nov. 8, and will also include independent candidates.

Voters have until May 17 to register for the primary election.

A number of residents have also filed to run for county committee. They are listed by party and district. Each district may have one man and one woman elected to County Committee.

If a district did not have a candidate listed, Patch did not include it on this list.
