Ridgewood 2023 Election: 'Parents Rights Alliance' Comes Up Last, More Results

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — Updated numbers for the Ridgewood Board of Education election have come in, even though paper ballots mailed on the last few days have yet to be counted.

The school board race was competitive, with seven candidates running, including incumbents and a two-member "Parental Rights Alliance" slate. See the sample ballot here and read about the candidates' debate here.

Mary Micale seems a clear winner for one of the two seats in contention. The final numbers may not be known for a few days.

Here are the most recently updated numbers in the local races as of Wednesday:

Mary Micale: 2,406

Saurabh Dani: 1,422

Julie Mchedlishvili: 1,370

Michael W. Lembo: 1,009

Laura McKenna: 912

Malcolm R. Jennings: 582

Claude J. Guinchard II: 552
