Ridgewood College Students Receive Scholarships

The scholarships were among the 169 awarded to Bergen Community College students recently.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — Four township residents received scholarships from the Bergen Community College Foundation recently.

The students were:

  • Amanda Amoruso, $1,000, Dr. Richard Ciccone Endowed Scholarship Fund
  • Christina Brigliadoro, $1,000, BCC General Scholarship
  • Daniel Fandino, $1,000, Visions FCU Endowed Technology Scholarship
  • Maria Khalitov, $2,000, Prof. Robert Neil Ender Memorial Computer Science Award

The scholarships are funded by community members, faculty, and staff members at Bergen Community College.

The foundation decides who is awarded scholarships. More than $20 million in scholarships have been awarded since the foundation was created in 1982, including $200,000 this year.

More than 14,000 students are enrolled at Bergen Community College. The College offers associate degrees, certificates, and continuing education programs in a variety of fields.
