Ridgewood Crew Athletes Take Their Talents To Elite Universities

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — Several Ridgewood Crew athletes have continued their rowing careers at some of the most elite colleges and universities in the country.

Former Ridgewood athletes are attending the University of Massachusetts, the University of Connecticut, Boston College, Trinity College, Marist College and West Virginia University.

"Students who are in Ridgewood Crew's rowing program report their high level of performance in the classroom is directly related to the discipline and time management skills they've learned on the water," said Jeanne Johnson, one of the parents who helps run the group.
