Ridgewood Education Foundation Passes $1M Fundraising Mark

The foundation has awarded more than 300 grants in support of new and innovative programs.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — The Ridgewood Education Foundation has passed the $1 million mark milestone.

The $1 million has funded more than 300 grants for programs and initiatives designed to enhance students' educational experiences. These grants support current and future curriculums conceived by principals, teachers and staff members that advance the district's campaign for learning in the 21st century.

“The goal of the Foundation is to bring the next chapter into the Ridgewood School District," said foundation President Mary Micale.

Micale acknowledged that the $1 million milestone could not have been reached without the "continued support and generosity of Ridgewood residents and businesses who support the tradition of excellence in the Ridgewood Public Schools."
