Ridgewood Fire Dept. Presents Check to 'Tomorrow's Children Fund' After Holding Fundraiser for Charity
The Ridgewood Fire Dept. presented a check to Tomorrow's Children Fund after winning the Firefighter Food Face Off and hosting a fundraiser.

The Ridgewood Fire Department presented a check to Tomorrow’s Children Fund last Friday after winning the Firefighter Food Face Off in July and hosting a fundraiser for the charity at Fairway Market.
The Ridgewood Fire Department’ placed first in the Fairway Firefighter Food Face-Off on June 15 and to honor their dedication, bravery and great grilling skills, Fairway Market in Paramus hosted a Shopping Night for their charity, Tomorrow’s Children Fund, in July.
The Ridgewood Fire Department, HUMC’sTomorrow’s Children Fund and shoppers of Fairway Market all helped to raise $5,000 for Tomorrow’s Children Fund at their shopping night on July 16. The check was presented by Ridgewood Fire Department to Tomorrow’s Children Fund on Friday, Oct. 17.

The Ridgewood firefighters competed against Paramus, Hackensack and Park Ridge Fire Departments in Fairway’s fourth annual grilling competition and won a $500 gift card to use for their firehouse, along with the special Shopping night that gave 25 percent of all sales from registered customers who shopped between 4 and 10 p.m. that day to Tomorrows Children’s Fund at Hackensack University Medical Center.
TCF was founded and is directed by a group of committed parents to help their children and others like them with cancer and serious blood disorders.
