Ridgewood Firefighter Will Attempt World Record For Running A Mile In Full Gear
Brendan Corcoran will run in the annual Fred d'Elia Memorial Day Ridgewood Run Monday.
Brendan Corcoran will try and break the world record for running a mile in full firefighter gear at the Fred d’Elia Memorial Day Ridgewood Run Monday.
The current record is slightly less than 8 minutes.
“It’s kind of like running in somebody else’s body,” the Ridgewood firefighter told NorthJersey.com. “You’re not yourself. You have to apply things differently.”

The annual Fred d’Elia Memorial Day Ridgewood Run will be held at Veterans Memorial Field.
