Ridgewood, Glen Rock 2018 Halloween Sex Offender Safety Map

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — Before kids go out trick or treating on Halloween, fall is a good time to take an inventory of who is living in your neighborhood. Ridgewood currently has one registered Tier 2 sex offender listed on the New Jersey Sex Offender Registry. None live in Glen Rock.

The pins on the map represent the address of the offender convicted of sex crimes. Roll your cursor over the pins, and you will see more information pop up, including the registered sex offender's name, address, current age, and charges.

The registry includes Tier 2 and Tier 3 offenders: Those on Tier 2 have a moderate risk of re-offending, and Tier 3 offenders pose a "relatively high risk," police said. The internet registry does not include Tier 1 offenders, who pose a low risk, police said.
