Amid the blizzard on Monday, Ridgewood and Glen Rock gave updates about closures, power outages, and more.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — With New Jersey under a State of Emergency and areas of the state receiving more than 18 inches of snow, schools and local offices closed on Monday.
Both Ridgewood and Glen Rock said that many of their municipal offices are closed for the day, except for emergency services.

Glen Rock's police department said that to report an outage to PSE&G, call 800-436-PSE&G, text "OUT" to 47734 (4PSEG), or use the app or website. Call 911 only for emergencies, not outages. Their Nixle alert is here.
