Ridgewood High School Ranked 15th Best High School In N.J.

U.S. News and World Report's latest rankings of high schools throughout the United States was released Tuesday.

Ridgewood High School was ranked the 15th best high school in New Jersey by U.S. News & World Report this week.

The magazine released its latest rankings of every high school in New Jersey, and every other state, Tuesday.

The school posted a 60 out of 100 on the college-readiness scale and 3.6 and 3.5, out of four, math and language proficiency scores.

Sixty-eight percent of students who could take Advanced Placement exams did and 77 percent of those students passed. Students took an average of three exams.

Ridgewood was ranked the 307rd best high school in the United States.

U.S. News & World Report reviewed more than 21,000 public high schools nationwide. Schools were judged “based on their performance on state assessments and how well they prepare students for college,’’ the rankings website states.
