Ridgewood Man Survives Paterson Shooting: Prosecutor

A 33-year-old Ridgewood man was shot Friday night in Paterson, but is in stable condition, officials said.

PATERSON, NJ — A 33-year-old Ridgewood man was shot multiple times in Paterson Friday night, but is in stable condition.

The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office said police were dispatched to the area of North 6th Street and Temple Street around 10:50 p.m. Friday on a report of a shooting.

Officers found the man, who has not been identified, at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds, the Prosecutor's Office said.

He was transferred to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center for treatment, and is in stable condition.

The investigation is ongoing, and, the Prosecutor's Office said, more information will be released once it becomes available.
