A new ranking by Niche.com lists the 100 ”Best Suburbs to Raise a Family in New Jersey,” and Ridgewood is number 6.

The top-ranked town in New Jersey is Pennington, which was also ranked seventh on the national list, Best Suburbs to Raise a Family in America.

The listing uses factors such as affordable housing, low crime, good schools and community investment to determine the nation’s best suburbs for a family.
