Ridgewood Nurse Life-Flighted After Parkway Crash
The local woman sustained serious injuries after being rear-ended Monday night.

A nurse from Ridgewood’s Valley Hospital was life-flighted from the Garden State Parkway after a four car crash on Monday night, according to a NorthJersey.com report.
Carol Neil’s car, which also contained her husband Timothy Neil, both of Waretown, was rear-ended near the Woodcliff Lake area by an elderly motorist who fell asleep, the report states.
The suspect, Barry Weintraub, has been charged with assault by auto, according to the report.

Carol Neil’s injuries were serious but not life threatening, and she was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center, according to the report.
The crash took place at 8:30 p.m. just after mile post 168.5, according to the report.
