Ridgewood Officials Considering Referendum For Downtown Parking Garage
Council could approve adding a non-binding referendum to the November ballot.

The Village Council could approve later this month a non-binding referendum on the November ballot in an effort to measure public support to finance the installation of a downtown parking garage.
When it meets on July 15, the village council could move to add a non-binding referendum to November’s ballot, gauging public support for the financing of a parking garage downtown.
The council recently reviewed a draft resolution regarding the ballot question, NorthJersey.com reported; a final version of the resolution will be prepared for the council’s July 8 meeting and a vote taken the following week.
