Ridgewood Residents To Participate In Jimmy Fund Walk

Juliet and Bob Fischer will participate in the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk next month.

The Fischers are expected to be two of 8,500 people to try and raise more than $8.2 million for the Jimmy Fund to help adult and pediatric patient care and cancer research at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. They will walk between three and 26.2 miles, depending on where they begin walking.

The Fischers must raise a minimum of $300 to participate.

The walk has raised more than $100 million in its 27-year history.
