Ridgewood Service Will Honor Holocaust Victims

An interfaith service in Ridgewood will honor the millions of lives lost in the Holocaust, according to a report by NorthJersey.com.
The event will take place at Westside Presbyterian Church and will be led by Rev. Mar Oehler, the report states.
The guest speaker will be Dr. Mehnaz A. Afridi, an assistant religion professor at Manhattan College, according to the report.

Other features of the event include various readings, prayers and a special candle lighting, with participation from Holocaust survivors and their families, the report states.
The service is free and open to the public.
