Ridgewood Trash Hauler Ticketed For Leaving Dumpsters Parked On Paterson Street: Report
Bella Carting told to 'find a place in Ridgewood and move your business there,' Paterson official said.

Paterson officials issued tickets to a Ridgewood trash hauler that residents say always leaves its dumpsters and garbage trucks on a city street, leaving the stench of trash in the air.
Ben Raabe, the owner of Bella Carting, said that his company was not doing anything wrong, NorthJersey.com reported. There were five garbage dumpsters on Warren Street in Paterson where the company leases land, the report states.
Council President William McKoy told Raabe a few hours later at City Hall that he “find a place in Ridgewood and move your business there.

“We welcome businesses that would be responsible corporate partners and not putting our residents’ health and safety in danger as they try to make a corporate dollar.”
Officials told Raabe that Bella Carting was working without a certificate of occupancy from Paterson, the report states.

“You must think we’re idiots,” Paterson Councilman Julio Tavarez told Raabe.
