Ridgewood Woman Left Cable Worker Stranded In Mid-Air: Police
Breaking: The woman was charged with harassment and false imprisonment.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — A village woman left an Optimum employee in a work bucket stranded in mid-air during an argument Monday, police said.
The employee and woman were arguing at East Ridgewood Avenue and South Pleasant Avenue, police said. The woman got into an Optimum vehicle and turned off the bucket lift while the person was inside, stranding the worker inside, authorities said.
The 59-year-old woman then took items from the truck and walked away; the worker was stuck in the bucket for five or 10 minutes. police said.

Police found the 59-year-old woman and arrested her. She was charged with harassment, false imprisonment, disorderly conduct, and criminal trespass. She was released pending a court date, police said.
Police did not say why the woman was arguing with the worker.
