Ridgewood YMCA Hires New Aquatics Director

Michael Stacy brings 15 years experience to position.

The Ridgewood YMCA announced today the appointment of Michael Stacy to the position of Aquatics Director.

Formerly the Aquatics Director at the Boys and Girls Club in Greenwich, Connecticut, Michael has over 15 years of experience in developing high-quality aquatics programs and teaching swimming and lifesaving skills to children and adults.

Ernest Lamour, CEO of the Ridgewood YMCA says, "We are very happy to welcome Michael as our new Aquatics Director and look forward to the leadership and experience he brings to our aquatics department”.

Michael is a certified Lifeguard Instructor and Trainer, a certified Water Safety Instructor and Trainer, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dowling College.

Says Michael, "I'm very excited for my new role at the Ridgewood Y and look forward to making a splash in the aquatics department".
