A number of Ridgewood Democrats, and no Republicans, filed petitions this week to run for Bergen County Committee, the village manager said.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — A number of Ridgewood Democrats, and no Republicans, filed petitions this week to run for Bergen County Committee.
The 2022 primary election takes place on Tuesday, June 7 in New Jersey. The winners will earn their party's nomination for the general election, which takes place on Tuesday, Nov. 8, and will also include independent candidates.
Voters have until May 17 to register for the primary election.

Each district may have one man and one woman elected to County Committee. No candidates filed for Republican County Committee, Village Manager Heather A. Mailander said.
No candidates filed in districts 2, 3, 9, and 13, Mailander said.
