Self-Motivation Is The Topic Of Ridgewood Wellbeing Series Wednesday

The presentation will focus on how self-motivation leads to success and ways parents can help their children stay motivated.

RIDGEWOOD, N.J. — A New York Times columnist will talk about the "gift of failure" Ridgewood Public School District's Wellbeing Series Feb. 1 presentation.

Jessica Lahey will focus on the importance of self-motivation, how it can lead to success and ways parents can support their children to stay motivated in the long term.

The presentation will be at the George Washington Middle School auditorium from 7 to 9 p.m.

Admission is free.

The Wellbeing Series was developed by the district's Office of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment. It is a component of the Ridgewood Public Schools Community Outreach Program, which strives to help parents and guardians create balance in children’s lives and support their emotional health.
