Several Ridgewood High School Students Earn Academic Awards
Several students received the Maroon Award and 2 received the Rensselaer Medal and Scholarship Award.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — Several village high school students received special academic awards, Superintendent Daniel Fishbein announced recently.
The following students each received a Maroon Award: Maria Aono, Ireland Horan, Jack Simpson, Hannah Rigdon, Kavita Patel, Ana McDade, Grace DiModugno and Jean Horton.
Senior Kumail Raza received the Rensselaer Medal and Scholarship Award for his academic achievements in math and science.

Interact Club Presidents Hayley Chelak and Christian Seremetis received the Walter W. Head Award from the AM Rotary for their service to the community.
Seniors Kathryn Kearny and Mary Lane received scholarships from the 200 Club of Bergen County and the Seeing Eye Puppy Raising Puppy. Lane also received a scholarship from the Kinnelon Education Assocation.

Sophomores Lindsay Kaul and Emily Choi received awards in the Scholastic Art and Writing Award Regional Competition. Choi received three Gold Key awards and one Silver Key Award for her painting. Also, her painting "Another Night in the City," received a national Silver Award.
