See the list of snow days and delayed openings in Bergen County, as well as links for updates, and the latest forecast.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — With snow on the ground during rush hour Tuesday morning (Jan. 16), many Bergen County schools announced delayed openings and closings.

Up to 4 inches of snow were predicted through Tuesday in the area. For planning purposes, another snowfall is predicted for Friday.

Bergen County Districts That Made Announcements, With Links For Updates

Elsewhere in North Jersey, districts including Livingston and Westfield announced delayed openings, saying they would give updates later. Jersey City schools are closed, and Millburn schools changed from a delayed opening to a closure.

"Snow covered roads and visibility down to ½ mile at times Tonight into Tue PM," the NWS said in its powerpoint presentation. "Hazardous travel likely thru Tue Eve."
