South Carolina Fugitive Charged In Bergen Stabbing Attack: Prosecutor

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A third South Carolina man has been charged in connection with the stabbing and targeted robbery of an East Rutherford man this month, authorities announced.
Kendrick Terrell Brown, 21, of Columbia, South Carolina, was charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery after authorities investigating the stabbing of a man at the Extended Stay America on Route 3 in the Meadowlands Aug. 7, said Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal.
Andrew J. Jefferson, 26, Deshaun Hill, 23, were charged with attempted murder, robbery, conspiracy to commit murder and conspiracy to commit robbery in connection with the robbery, Grewal previously said.

The victim was the intended target of the robbery, authorities said. Jefferson and Hill were arrested in South Carolina.
Brown was arrested Monday by the Lexington County Sheriff's Department Fugitive Task Force. He is being held without bail at the Lexington County Jail pending extradition to New Jersey.
