Glen Rock resident Suzanne Andora Barron was recognized by New Jersey Monthly magazine as a Garden State Seeds of Hope Awards recipient at a recent luncheon at the Crystal Plaza in Livingston. Each year the magazine recognizes outstanding Garden State volunteers committed to bettering their communities and the lives of their neighbors. The 2016 honorees were chosen from 67 nominees by our panel of four judges: Kathleen DiChiara, founder, former president and CEO of the Community FoodBank of New Jersey; John Harmon, founder, president and CEO of the African-American Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey; Sue Henderson, president of New Jersey City University; and Judy Spires, chairwoman and CEO of Kings Food Markets.
