GLEN ROCK, NJ — Three district teachers are among the highest paid in New Jersey.
The state Department of Education released its annual list of teachers' salaries for 2017. The Glen Rock teachers who made the list all make significantly more than the average statewide salary of $70,637, which also includes librarians, guidance counselors, and other non-administrative staff, according to an NJ Spotlight analysis.
The local teachers who are among the 1,000 highest paid are: Christopher Kelley, Deborah Cella and Patricia Mahoney.

Mahoney's annual salary is $112,683. Kelley makes $117,322 a year. Cella's salary is $114,593.
Cella and Mahoney work at Glen Rock High School while Kelley works at the middle school.
